Hello! My name is Jeannie and I live on  small farm where caring for my animals keeps me grounded. I am endlessly curious, love a good research rabbit hold, and am definitely a depth over crowds person. Give me a small concert, dinner with a few friends, or a meaningful conversation over a huge gathering any day.

The curiosity is a big part of what brought me to counseling. I actually started academically in botany because I loved understanding how things grow, change, and are shaped by the world around them. Eventually, that curiosity became much more about people. I became fascinated by what makes us who we are, how our experiences shape us, and how we continue to grow.

Maybe you feel things deeply but do not always have the words for them. Maybe you question yourself, get stuck in your head, struggle with relationships or change, or keep finding yourself in patterns you do not quite understand. Or maybe you are simply curious about yourself. You do not need to come to therapy knowing exactly what is wrong. I believe people are inherently good, beautifully complicated, and capable of growth. I want to meet you where you are with empathy, curiosity, collaboration, and probably some humor while we figure things out together.

Education and Experience
