I’m Nicole. Those who know me would say I appear to have it together (appear is the important word here). I have a slight obsession with pushing my body’s endurance to its limit, yet I also value slower pace and restoration. Thankfully, Durango is a wonderful place to strike that balance. I’m a present-minded individual who is working on intentional vulnerability and strengthening relationships. My own therapy has allowed me to process my trauma, utilizing my strengths from the experiences to move forward rather than feel trapped.

I work with individuals who are navigating body image and disordered eating, who are finding their identity, and who wish to navigate the world without the weight of their trauma and anxiety. Adolescents generally fit this well. I also work with children ages 10+ and their parents, utilizing play, talk, and somatic-based therapies to attune to each child, encourage communication, and work through traumas. Much of my practice with adults utilizes cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and internal family systems (IFS). My hope is to establish a sense of safety to anchor you while we begin accessing and healing more emotional parts. I am a firm believer that we are all continuous learners and I look forward to that with my clients.

I am a Clinical Social Work Candidate (SWC) who is supervised by Mark Sobel, LCSW. I received my MSW from University of New Hampshire in May 2026. My love for therapy work was born when I took a role as a field guide for Summit Achievement, a hybrid wilderness therapy program in Maine. I have since run a teen program through Boys and Girls Club and interned as a play therapist. I am extremely motivated by witnessing the personal growth of my clients, whatever that looks like for them. My goal is always to provide you and/or your children with a safe space to show up authentically and empower you to reach your goals.
