Hallie Graves (Durango and Online)

Hello! I’m Hallie. I’m an East Coast transplant who has fallen in love with life in the Southwest. I feel most at home outside, whether I’m exploring the mountains, wandering through a thrift store, or stopping to pet any dog that will let me. I’ve lived in five different Colorado towns and feel grateful to now call Durango home. My path here wasn’t linear, and I’ve explored a variety of jobs and places along the way. Those experiences shaped who I am today and allow me to connect with people navigating uncertainty, growth, and change.

I believe healing happens in your own time and in your own way. My approach is grounded in respect for each person’s unique story and the idea that you are already whole, even when things feel overwhelming or unclear. My own journey has been shaped by people who showed up with compassion and curiosity, and I aim to offer that same presence to my clients. I work with adolescents and young adults who are navigating life transitions, anxiety, identity development, trauma, and relationship challenges. My style is collaborative, flexible, and engaged, and I draw from approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), narrative therapy, and somatic-based practices.

Education and Experience

I have a Bachelor of Science in Sustainable Development from Appalachian State University and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Denver (Durango Program). I have explored diverse career paths and lived in multiple places around the United States and Colorado, all in order to find my way here. I have experience working with adolescents and young adults and am committed to creating a safe, steady space for growth and healing.
