Hello! My name is Kelsey Kolz. I am a 10-year Air Force Veteran and take great pride in "Veterans helping Veterans."  My family is super important to me, we love to be outdoors, ride motorcycles, go boating, camping, and fishing.  I am always up for an adventure!

Besides being a mother, I believe that counseling is my purpose.  I have a great passion for serving veterans and first responders.  I also really enjoy meeting with young adults. I recognize PTSD isn't only from the military.  We all experience some form of trauma in our lives, and it is okay to label it as such. I take a holistic approach, considering each client's cognitive, emotional, and physical needs to improve their overall well-being. As much as I'd like to snap my fingers and we all be well, healing is a process. I can help by providing a nonjudgmental, safe place for you to open up about the challenges you face day to day.  We will work through various emotions, set goals, and I will support you as you become the best version of yourself.

Education/Experience

I attended Capella University and received my MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2024.  I also went to American Military University and received my BS in Criminal Justice in 2020.

While in the military I experienced and studied a wide variety of different cultures all around the world. While living in Germany, I was able to be part of a ministry that supported sexual assault victims inside/outside brothels.

I look forward to meeting you!
